Functie

Thanks to your efforts, our players are able to place bets on a number of sports, both Prematch & InPlay. As a Sports Trader you will be compiling odds, managing liabilities and trading matches in play. In this way, you directly contribute to a happy, healthy and sporty Netherlands. As a Sports Trader you score by:

• Monitoring prices and controlling liabilities – PreMatch & Inplay
• Responsible for pricing a range of markets and effectively profiling the customer base
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting on performance
• Booking InPlay events through 3rd party providers
• Audit automated price feeds to protect margin
• Anti-fraud implementation, competitor analysis and continuous improvement of business analysis and operational risk control procedures.

This is probably also something you’d like to know: The Sport trading team of the Nederlandse Loterij is very successful. Together with the other 12 traders in the TOTO team, you will be responsible for trading a number of sports, both Prematch & InPlay. Football will be the most important sport, but we are involved in a growing list of other sports as well.

Functie eisen

The various people who work here like to be on the move, develop themselves on a personal and/or professional level, and strive for profit. That makes everyone within Nederlandse Loterij a top talent. Your talent is the sum of:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience of Pricing, Product and Risk management of sporting events both Pre match and InPlay trading
• Odds Compilation of pre match events and specials
• Experience of data feeds & 3rd party providers
• Programming experience, with a preference for knowledge of C#, SQL, R &/or Python would be advantageous, as would experience with models for automated sports applications
• Fluency in English

Furthermore, for this vacancy, you have a major interest in sports. Attention to detail, flexibility and initiative are imperative. You are a team player and able to work well with others as good teamwork is critical.

Aanbod

As a Sports Trader we offer you:

• a full-time position for 40 hours per week. You start with an annual contract tract and have the prospect of a permanent position.
